What I’m Up To Now

This is a now page, a brief update on where my time and energy are going.

Last updated February 2026.

Cogent Connections

I run Cogent Connections, a company I started in 2020 to help businesses build real, lasting relationships with partners, clients, and collaborators. Not the “hand out 50 business cards and hope for the best” kind. The kind where people actually remember your name and want to work with you.

Right now I’m deep into planning the 2026 calendar. Last year I leaned hard into personal connection, and the results were clear. Our December dinner social brought over 50 real estate investors from across New Jersey and Eastern PA together under one roof at Chimney Hill Estate. That energy carried straight into January with another executive dinner to kick off the year. We just celebrated a full year of monthly dinners, and each one keeps getting better.

The dinner socials are a big piece, but the portfolio keeps growing. We run virtual networking calls, business owner peer advisory meetings, networking karaoke nights, sauna and cold plunge socials, and larger community events. I also organized a 3-hour networking cruise on the Delaware River with 140 guests last fall. Next year’s theme might already be picked out.

Creating and Sharing

I was a guest on the 23 Journeys: A Network for Creatives podcast, where I talked about how creatives can use LinkedIn as a real tool for outreach, networking, and business growth. It was a fun conversation covering everything from profile optimization to the right way to send connection requests.

I’ve also been experimenting with more creative event formats. Our party bus networking crawl visited seven different businesses in one evening, complete with surprise challenges. And our fall networking tea party proved that sometimes the best connections happen over a warm cup of tea and sweet treats in a cozy setting.

Life in Moorestown

I live in Moorestown, New Jersey. My background is in research and behavioral therapy. I worked at Case Western Reserve studying how emotional triggers influence decision-making, did neuroscience research at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and spent two summers as a behavioral therapist at Cleveland Clinic working with children. That foundation in understanding human behavior carries into everything I do now with Cogent Connections.

On the personal side, I finally got a custom suit that actually fits my 6’3″, 155-pound frame. If you’ve ever struggled to find clothes off the rack, you understand how good that feels.
